Wildlife conservation

What is wildlife conservation?: Is the practice of protecting wild plant and animal species and their habitats. The goal of wildlife conservation is to ensure that that nature will be around for future generations to enjoy and also to recognize the importance of wildlife and wilderness for humans and other species alike.

Today, several threats to the environmental stability include:elephant and rhino poaching for ivory and horn, bush meat snaring for large scale trade, illegal logging of forested areas, charcoal burning and livestock intrusion.

In many years we have purchased fuel to keep the anti–poaching forces but how long are we going to  do this?

This is a very important topic. How did you get inspired to do this project? What are your sources for the information that you found?

Have you looked into the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and what their goals are. And what their idea of what a conservation should look like.

What are some of those threats, to animals today? So is your question, How can we make a self sufficient way to keep up anti-poaching forces. If it is costing money, where is it coming from?

Good Luck with your research, I hope some of my questions help you to move forward with your project.

Hey Benito!

What a great topic! In modern society, we are so caught up in our daily lives that we forget that all around the world, species of plants and animals are becoming endangered due to things that we do everyday. Whether it be indirect effects (global warming, climate change, pollution, etc.) or direct effects (poaching, fabricating animal products, deforestation, etc.), we are all responsible for the decrease in biodiversity that we see around the globe today.

Here are some links which may help with your research:

Good luck!
