Hey everyone,

Who are your team members?

For the values project, @Joanna Whitter (Charles Best) and myself are a team.

What are the values that you team has in common?

Together we both have the common values of:

Tolerance -  the ability to put up with something, whether that's difference of opinions or actions

Helping - to offer assistance or make something easier for another person generally out of the goodness of your heart

What are the additional values that your team members have?

Joanna and I were almost a perfect match; however, we had one difference of equality (the state of being equal for rights, opportunities, etc) for myself and family (group of people who are related to you such as your parents and siblings)  for Joanna. On the hand the values least important to myself include justice (the law and being fair), risks (doing things outside your comfort zone) and relationships (being emotionally connected to others).

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team.

Joanna and I believe, the importance to accept others perspectives although you may disagree and give everyone support when they require it, will help shape the community into great citizens.

Hey everyone,

Who are your team members?

Myself and @Jessica Scott (Charles Best) are a team!

What are the values that you team has in common?

We both shared the value of personal growth (which is "a way for people to assess their skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize their potential" -https://www.skillsyouneed.com/ps/personal-development.html) and although that was our only common one, it was one that both of us thought to be extremely important.

What are the additional values that your team members have?

Other than sharing personal growth, I had the values courage and integrity, while Jessica had equality and helping. Her other values were more based on a community perspective, and mine solidified my other value of personal growth.

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team.

Our value statement was: We believe that we should try to develop our consciousness as fully as possible by staying true to ourselves, overcoming challenges to aid others, and promoting equality and fairness in society. This statement encompassed all of our values while focusing on our shared one.

Hey everyone!!

Who are your team members?

For this activity, I was teamed up with @Catherine Eckman (Charles Best) and @Venus Seyedi (Charles Best).

What are the values that your team has in common?

The three of us had the "equality" value in common. In addition to this, Catherine and I had the tradition value in common as we both listed it as a less important value.

What are the additional values that your team members have?

My three most important values were...

Equality: The belief that everyone should have the same opportunities and rights

Family: Nurturing the relationship you have with your loved ones

Recognition: People being noticed for their efforts and contributions

Catherine's three important values were equality, courage, and pleasure. As for our least important values, mine were tradition, innovation, and risk while Catherine's are tradition, spiritual growth and belonging. Unfortunately, Venus doesn't remember her less important values, but her important values are equality pleasure and respect.

Our team came up with the value statement:

We believe that everyone deserves the same rights and opportunities towards success no matter their gender, religion, race, or sexuality.

Hello Butterfly Effect,

Here are my answers to the questions above.

Who are your team members?

For his endeavor, myself and @Lauren Jang (Charles Best) have been teamed up together.

What are the values that your team has in common?

Both Lauren and I shared two values: tolerance (above all else--regardless of whether or not you agree with someone or something--being tolerant and respectful) and helping (when someone else is in need or turmoil, taking the time out of your day to help them).

What are the additional values that your team members have?

Lauren and I were very close to perfect matches (with the similarities of tolerance and helping)! However, I had valued family (caring, respecting, and valuing the members of your family) whereas Lauren more strongly valued equality (equal rights, opportunities, and freedoms).

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team

Lauren and I believe in the importance of accepting others' perspectives although you may disagree with them and giving everyone support when they require it. These, perhaps, can help to shape our community into one filled with great citizens.

Thank you guys for reading, I am excited to see what Lauren and I can accomplish

Hello B-Effectors!

Who are your team members?

My team member is @Rhea Manhas (Charles Best) and myself! She is an excellent person to know and be friends with. I am sure you know of her, she is currently working on the inquiry question of why do we dream.

What are the values that you team has in common?

Due to our horrible memories, we forgot our third value we had in common. We initiated a discussion and after talking about it, we found that we both have the value of responsibility.
Responsibility comes in different forms, it could be corporate, social, economical, societal etc. We can see it manifest itself like within our lives, schooling, or academics.

What are the additional values that your team members have?

We remembered our two values. Rhea's was self growth and helping. Whereas mine was courage and family. Ours are different from each other, and we think that is completely fine. They represent an important piece within ourselves and that as a whole creates a team with diverse values.

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team.

The value statement we created says about our team the most is this:

As an active citizen and member in society, we are determined to be responsible at any level, such as social, economical, societal levels and more. We are also guided by our values of being courageous, family-loving, continuously growing and helping others in times of need.

That's all! Thanks for reading.

Hey everyone!

Who are your team members?

For this activity, I am teamed with @Jim Liu (Charles Best)

What are the values your team has in common?

We couldn't exactly remember what our values were, but after some thinking, we determined that our shared value was responsibility.

What are the additional values your team members have?

Jim's two values:

Courage and family

My values:

Helping and self growth

I believe that the fact that our values were slightly different from one another is a good thing for our team!  We have different people with different traits/values to bring to the table and that is beneficial.

The values statement we came up with:

Who are your team members?
My team is made up of me and Alison.

What are the values that your team has in common?
We have only one value in common and that is personal growth.

What are the additional values that your team members have?
Things that we value most:
Alison: Equality and Helping
Me: Family and Pleasure
Things that we value least:
Alison: Tradition, Power and Innovation
Me: Community, Religious growth, and Responsability

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team.
A value statement for our team I would think would have to be based on the one thing that we both value, so something that would have to consist of “personal growth”. My thought would be, “You can always do better! Nothing is perfect.” That, in my opinion, is what would best encompass our team. The idea behind it is as simple as the statement itself; there is always room for improvement. You can always be better and things can always be improved, the world functions off the idea of improving things and making them better, or at least that would be our thoughts.

Hi everyone,

Who are your team members?

For this activity I am partners with @Jasmine Paduraru (Charles Best) !

What are the values that you team has in common?

We had all three values in common, they were:

Helping- "Offering aid to others in an act of selfishness and empathy"

Equality-"the quality or state of being equal : the quality or state of having the same rights, social status, etc."

Compassion-"a strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad luck of others and a wish to help them"

What are the additional values that your team members have?

We had all three in common My least values however were community and tradition.

Come up with a 'Value Statement' for your team.

Since our three values were all similar, our value statement ties in all three of them. We came up with the statement "Care for one other and always lend a helping hand, regardless of any physical, mental, or spiritual spiritual differences.  You will both benefit from the experience ".

Thank you!

Who are your team members?

@Juliana Nunes (Charles Best) is my team member for this project!

What are the values that you team has in common?

We have all of our values in common, which is pretty cool

Equality - the idea that everyone should be treated fairly no matter their identity, status or circumstances.

Helping - supporting and aiding others in need without personal gain

Compassion - Feeling strong sympathy when witnessing someone else's pain or sorrow and striving to help them

What are the additional values that your team members have?

We had all of the same values!

Values statement:

Because all of our values are the same, our values statement uses all three of our values to form a statement that I believe describes us well:

"Care for one other and always lend a helping hand, regardless of any physical, mental, or spiritual differences.  You will both benefit from the experience "
