Hey guys according to my inquiry question I wonder whether global warming affect climatic changes.Today I will e looking at the possible solutions to global warming and climate changes(2)billowing power plant smokestacks and cooling towers

Smart solutions to reduce emissions

So that we may effectively address global warming, we must importantly reduce the amount of heat-trapping emissions we are putting into the atmosphere.

The good tidings is that we have the technology and practical ways at hand to experience it.

As individuals, we can assist by  reducing our personal carbon emissions. But to exactly address the threat of global warming, we must demand for action from our elected leaders to support and put on a comprehensive set of climate solutions.

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions to safer levels—there are personal lifestyle alters that you can make too that, in some combination, can help reduce your carbon effect.

Doing away with the burning of coal, oil and, eventually, natural gas. This is perhaps the most intimidating challenge as denizens of richer nations literally eat, wear, work, play and even sleep on the products made from such fossilized sunshine.

In my next time round research I will be looking on the ways in which solar radiation affects the ozone layer.

Hi Dorcas!

Great research! I'm glad you're looking into solutions for climate change as it is a very serious and current topic that affects everyone in the world. I think that companies, countries and individuals need to drastically change their policies, habits and lifestyles. If you think about it, we use a lot more fuel than we think. We're constantly burning fuel in our everyday lives, whether it's from driving around, or buying products that have been made in factories and shipped around the world. Everyone plays a role in climate change, but we can significantly reduce the impact if we all put in some effort.

Here are some good websites I found that discuss how solar radiation affects the ozone layer:

Good luck!

Hi Dorcas,

Wonderful post on climate change. Its a huge and growing concern that must be addressed soon. You've done a great job at outlining the major cause of this issue, carbon emissions. As you've said, our elected leaders, company leaders, and many more are best equipped to actually make a change. Those are the people who need to make changes. I'm not saying that individuals are powerless, but they hold most of the power.

Maybe you can talk about how we can push our governments and leaders to make changes.

Good job!

Hey Dorcas,

I think your topic is so important, as we need to take better care of the Earth, whether by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, using renewable energy, or anything else. This is very interesting as the round of research I am currently doing is about how climate change could be the end of human civilization, so it’s cool that you are looking at some ways we can reverse the effect/prevent more damage! Overall, great round of research, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next!

Here is a website that helped me during my research about climate change and it’s possible detrimental affects on humanity:

Good luck with your research!
