Hello everyone!

This will be my last post on the site, at least for a while or unless I change this test. I have created some questions based around "The Big Five" personality traits, because they are known to be more reliable than the MBTI test. I have created the questions based around sources I have looked at for my previous research rounds, as well as tests I have taken. I hope you all find some time to take the test, and you enjoy!

Butterfly Effect “The Big Five” Mini Test

Instructions: Check off the corresponding box explaining how much you agree with each statement. If you print off the test, check off each box, and send me a photo of your result in the comments, I will happily respond and tell you where you would fall on the "OCEAN" chart.

Possible Flaws:

  • I am not a psychologist
  • This is my first time creating a personality test
  • I did not include even amounts of questions for the “OCEAN” categories (4)
  • The questions I chose to include and created may not be as diverse, intellectual, or representative of one’s personality compared to that of a professional

I can’t wait to see what you make of my test results!
Hopefully, these sites may be of some use to you, with updating your test should you choose to, possibly you could include a question that involves a rationale for their decision that way it could be based off why they think something or why they have chosen a certain response:

Nice compiled information here and this is a really cool experiment test you have created into use! You're almost a real psychologist developer now!

 Hi Bogdan!

Thanks for taking my test. Your results were in the ranges of:

Openness: 55%

Conscientiousness: 80%

Extroversion: 53%

Agreeableness: 52%

Neuroticism: 60%

Keep in mind, this is only one version of the test. To calculate your score I sorted each answer into a range and then found an average, so this isn't spot on. And obviously, no personality traits are "better" or "worse" than others.

It was cool getting to know you through this test!

 Hi Jim!

Thanks for taking my test. Your results were in the ranges of:

O: 85%

C: 73%

E: 73%

A: 72%

N: 45%

It was cool getting to know you through this test! And thank you for pointing out my little mistake, I wouldn't have caught on otherwise!
