D-E-P-R-E-S-S-I-O-N, Depression? --- Inquiry

Hello everyone,

For my new inquiry round, I would like to do research about "depression". Nowadays, mental health gradually raised higher concern among the public. I used to saw a phenomenon that some people were talking online that the depressed people are freak.  One of my friends used to got depression, from her story, I understand how sensitive when people are depressing. Those people even might think the angle of a stranger's hands moving is trying to hurt them.

So, I think to understand depression is not only a protection for ourselves, but also a care for the depressed people nearby, who we really care about.

 Hey Ivy,,,

You have got an interesting topic on depression.According to me depression is (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. It causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problem.

Great research!

Hey Ivy!

I think you are tackling a big inquiry and that's great! However, it is important to keep in mind that when talking/researching about mental illnesses, it is important to stay sensitive about the struggles of having a mental illness (or depression, in this case). It is unfortunately something many people deal with throughout their life, but it still has a quite a big stigma so I anticipate your research!
