CHILD TRAFFICKING IN CHILD LABOUR..

Hae,everyone today am talking about child trafficking in child labour..

Child trafficking it is taking children out of their protective environment and preying on their vulnerability for the purpose of exploitation. The estimation of 980,000 to 1,225,000 children - both boys and girls - are in a forced labour  as a result of trafficking.

Smuggle in children ,internally in countries, across national borders and across continents is closely interlinked with the demand for cheap malleable and docile labour in sectors and among employers where the working conditions and the treatment grossly violates the human rights of the children.

They can be characterized by environments that are unacceptable (the unconditional worst forms) as well as dangerous to the health and the development of the child (hazardous worst forms).  They range from bonded labour, camel jockeying, child domestic labour, commercial sexual exploitation and prostitution, drug couriering, and child soldiering to exploitative or slavery-like practices in the informal industrial sector.

A larger initiatives to combat the worst forms of child labour, the ILO’s International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) works with governments, workers and employers’ organizations . It works with them to offer broad protecion to children at risk and victims, prevent the crime of trafficking, enforce laws and prosecute traffickers, and assist victims in need.

Services are offered at source, in transit and at destination. Programmes takes into account the national, sub-regional and regional specificities of the root causes of children’s vulnerability, mechanisms and routes used by traffickers, and the nature of exploitation that takes place, as well as the legal and cultural.

In statistics, child trafficking are difficult to obtain, the International Labour Organization estimates that 1.2 million children are trafficked each year and it has been internationally recognized as a serious crime that exists in every region , has human rights implications.A variety of potential solutions  can be categorized as four types of action: broad protection, prevention, law enforcement, and victim assistance.

Hello Priscilla It's a nice research that you have carried out on child trafficking in child labour . You have well listed what the child mainly undergoes and even the conditions that they are kept in which is very wanting. The government is now in a very big task because it needs to implement the laws that defend the children. It's a well framed work that you have been able to come out with hopeing you will continue to think abroad and come up with more new ideas about your topic. Am eagerly waiting more from you Priscilla! Thank you.
