HELLO guys! There was a post that I read and I can personally relate that It  was so much informative on 'lack of sleep may shrink your brain' by Caroline Lu and Rhea M<Charles Best>.I found out that it is really true that Lack of good sleep could shrink your brain, study suggests. Not getting a good night's sleep might be linked to shrinkage of the brain's gray matter over time, new research suggests.Lack Of Sleep Kills Brain Cells, New Study Shows. ...that staying awake for too long destroys brain cells in mice, and may be similar in humans.

It's the first study to show (if only in animals) that sleep loss can result to irreversible brain cell damage, here's What Happens in the Brain When You Don't Get Enough Sleep. ... In the study, the researchers found that sleep dispossession makes it difficult for brain cells to communicate effectively, which, in turn, result to temporary mental failures that affect memory and visual perception.

Thanks for sharing your work,I really enjoyed reading the post.

Hey Dorcas,

Great Burn! It's great to see to see members continue to write burns because they have been overlooked as we have progressed throughout the years. I love how you connected two different research rounds on sleep by relating the lack of sleep can cause your brain to shrink. Which is quite a scary fact by the way because some people don't receive a lot of sleep and thus might have a shorter life expectancy. Anyways keep up the great work and continue writing burns because they make everyone happy!
