For this BYT, I have decided to combine John Wachira's topic, "Why is todays technology useful than early technology?" with Jessica Scott's topic, "Why are some people introverts and others extroverts?" These topics explore completely different fields of research, but yet there is a connection between the two. John's research focuses on the developments that technology has made and just how much more it has impacted our world than before, and Jessica's focuses on why people develop different personality types.
That's why, from these two topics, I'm wondering what the impact is of technology nowadays on people's personality types, compared to impacts in the past? Is it greater or lesser? This also sort of relates to Juliana's research about the Nature vs. Nurture debate, because if technology has an impact on personalities, then certain people who are brought up surrounded and exposed to technology would be more or less likely to develop an introvert/extrovert personality. Thanks for reading!
