Hi everyone! In my previous research round, I mentioned how it would be the last one I would be doing for this cycle. However, I decided to make another research round about my topic and take my injury question further! For those who haven’t been following my forum, my inquiry question for this cycle is: “what does it mean to be conscious?” In this round, I’ll be looking into psychoactive drugs to broaden the understanding of the connection between consciousness and unconsciousness. Hi everyone! This is my last research round of this cycle for my inquiry question: “what does it mean to be conscious?” I’ll be looking into head injuries to broaden the understanding of the connection between consciousness and unconsciousness. The Overview: By the dictionary, this is what consciousness and unconsciousness mean: Consciousness is defined by the subjective awareness of one’s one existence, sensations, thoughts,...Read More...

Since I believe that there are many levels of consciousness, it is hard to define it. The level and types of activities that occur in the brain evidently varies from time to time which leads me to believe that consciousness is transitionary. Another reason why this topic intrigues me is because...Read More...
