Hello everyone, for my final round of research I will inform you about what is stress.

Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed, pressured, and more negative emotions. Stress is our body’s response to negative energy. Stress can come from many different situations or life events. It is often triggered when we get new or unexpected experiences or feel we have little control situation. Everyone deals with and feels different from stress. The ability to cope with stress depends on our genetics, early life events, personality, social, and economic circumstances. When people encounter stress, the body produces stress hormones that trigger a fight or flight response and activate our immune system. This could help us respond quickly to dangerous or pressure situations. The stress response can be someones useful. Our stress hormones will usually go back to normal quickly once the stressful event is over and there won’t be lasting events. Too much stress can cause negative effects as it can leave us in a permanent state of fight or flight that leaves us overwhelmed or unable to cope. Long term, this can affect our physical and mental health. (1)

The definition of stress from the Oxford dictionary says [uncountable, countable] pressure or worry caused by problems in somebody’s life or by having too much to do. (2)

Stress is the reaction of your body to pressure from situations or events. This can be a physical, mental, or emotional reaction. everyone deals with stress at some point in their lives, this can be from your job, family illness, money troubles, or any situation that gives a negative impact. (3)

Stress defines any type of change that causes physical, emotional, or psychological strain. Stress is the body’s response to a situation that requires attention or action. Everyone experiences stress to different degrees. (4)
