Blog #1: Inquiry Question

My Inquiry question for this project is…Are children becoming over-dependent on technology?

After doing some research and thinking about which question I should do that intrigues me the most, I found the one. I believe today these kinds of issues are common problems that needs to be aware and fixed for a better future. For the greater future I mean a wholesome relationships with others, being mentally and physically healthy rather than being trapped on your phone all the time. This topic has intrigued me as I am one of the people that is slowly relying on technology and learning that it is not the best idea. I would like to know more answers to what made them become so dependent on technology in the first place, the outcome of it, and how it would shape the world later on.

  1. Hi Tiffany, I also realize that I am slowly becoming more addicted to my phone and the more I try to stop I find it harder. I only got a phone a little over 2 years ago so, when I see a child holding a phone I get so surprised. This is a very relevant topic today, excited to see your project!

Here are some links that I found that could help with your research!

Hope this helps with your research! Good luck!

I think this is such an interesting question as kids are now being born into a society that uses technology every day.
It’s so crazy to think about what our lives would be like today if technology didn’t exist!

Your inquiry question really captured my attention because I feel as though I am also starting to get dependent on technology.
