hello! I chose to ask this question because, through recent news updates and social media posts, Donald trump has been all over the internet and everyone is talking about this year's election. It's been brought to my attention that he, one of the last two candidates, has absolutely no political experience or education at all. How can that even be allowed? And how has he made it this far?? Nonetheless, I'm very excited to research more on this topic. Cheers!Read More...

HOW PLACE A DAM LINING IN A WATER-PAN Hi there I am very sorry to delay my project it is just for a few reasons. For now I will look on how to place a dam lining under the pan to prevent water loss. The dam lining can be of different materials. A water-pan needs to be lined to stop water from seeping out. If the water stored does not leak away, there will be more available for use in the home and on the farm. Hi there everybody, this is another engineering project from yours truly. This time i will be focusing on aerodynamics and aerospace engineering instead of mechanical engineering. I will be researching the basics of helicopter propulsion and flight. I will also be designing and maybe building a personal flight system using the basics i have learned from my research. I do not know if i will be able to build this project as it may cost more than a thousand dollars to build. I am really...Read More...

Salutations, other inquirers. I am choosing to do this as one of my topics because I love the idea of improving the lives of people, and creating new possibilities for those without the ability to use parts of their body. Another interesting thing to do with this project is that humans will sometimes have something called "hysterical strength". This is a phenomena that occurs when people are in a life or death situation and their bodies give off large amounts of adrenaline. This allows a...Read More...

I've recently been working on teaching myself how to use Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects for the purposes of editing and post VFX. I have created the first draft of my edit. This is a track Jacob created half a year ago for this film I'm thinking of using it as the soundtrack https://clyp.it/s2qsm5cf I have around 8-9 scenes that need AE (After Effects). I've created thumbnail sketches for each of them. I'm going to do some re-stylizing of the slides at the beginning of the film...Read More...

Hi everyone! For my inquiry question, I wanted to choose a question that I ask myself quite often; do people have different perceptions of time? While I investigate this question, I'd like to be able to explore the psychological ways that we view time; does it seem to pass faster or slower depending on the activities that we do, the mind state that we are in, a physical/mental condition that we have, or some other factor that I haven't considered yet? Please let me hear your ideas; this is a...Read More...

Hello everybody, I was thinking the other day on some ways that we could make schools around the world better. In both academic ways and in ways where we can be involved in the community. I brainstormed some ideas, researching from schools that have more of a variety to resources that could aid in learning, such as in San Francisco. I learned that a way that we could expand our learning would be to adapt technology. By doing so we will have the resource to gain opportunities for learning,...Read More...

Greetings, I hope that everyone is having a splendid week. For my inquiry question I was thinking of something along the lines of "Why do extreme athletes take big risks?" I'm not yet sure if this is what I want my question to be yet but I would like something around this topic. Over the years, I have watched whether on television or in person many of what you would called "extreme atheltes". The reason for the title extreme is because the sports they do have a very high risk factor, whether...Read More...

Hi there. For my inquiry question, I was thinking: Why do humans have different personalities? I was wondering why because I myself am quite timid and calm, but my some of my friends are extremely talkative and energetic, and I wonder how we could have turned out so differently. However, to narrow my inquiry question down slightly, I was wondering what kind of personalities I should research: Shy vs. Outgoing? Optimistic vs. Pessimistic? Or something else? Let me know what you think.Read More...

Hello everyone, my inquiry question is about artificial intelligence capable of matching the thinking power of a human. I chose this topic because I am very interested in mathematics and robotics. I build small robots and programs during my free time and this led me to wonder about how close we are to making a robot or system that can think for itself. So far, our current machines able to solve problems and react to situations with certain programming, but are not able to operate on their...Read More...

Hello ladies and gentlemen. My inquiry question enters the realm of a science that is still barely understood and extremely hard to observe, yet that doesn't stop us from trying. I have been interested in quantum mechanics for a while now and I hope that I get to see the fruition of quantum technology in my lifetime. I will be getting a lot of my sources from videos and documentaries as I am a visual & auditory learner. I hope to inspire you all and bring a little more light to this topic!Read More...

Hi everyone! I have chosen this question because, as I'm sure many of you can relate to, I will soon have to choose my career. There are so many different fields to choose from, and it's hard not to think about the salary associated with those jobs. I'm curious as to whether or not a brain surgeon would want to be a brain surgeon if they were paid the same as a postman. I'm looking forward to exploring this topic.Read More...

Hi, everyone! My inquiry question is "How does the environmental force change crystal structure?". When I was a child, I was interested in the crystal. There were so many crystal things such as the princess's shoes, crystal ball in the movie. As I grew up, I saw the real crystals that have many different colors and structures. Then, I found that salts, rocks, and wax are all crystals, and they have different structures. Therefore, I have some question "What factor may change the structures...Read More...

Hey there everybody, this is my plan for research and the rest of the project. The first thing that I plan is to do some basic research on exoskeletons and then try to design an exoskeleton of my own. In this design phase i will be doing some research on what is the most effective or best way to power the exoskeleton as well as the different kinds of joints and mechanical things I would need. The second step is for me to do research on materials and actual mechanical components i would need...Read More...

I chose this question because I am really interested in the detective stories of Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle and I read somewhere that Sherlock Holmes was modeled on a real person admired by Doyle, his good friend, Sir Dr. Joseph Bell. Sources say that Bell could pinpoint a problem with one glance when working with his patients, and could intuit their whereabouts for the previous months before meeting with him. It got me wondering if this was an acquired set of skills or is it a genetically...Read More...

How Do Kenyans Stretch Their Money to Survive With a Smaller Income
