...why it is that the poorest countries in the world continue to develop slowly and how they fall into the “poverty trap”....comparing their growth with the prosperity of richer countries... This part of Yasmin Harden's got me the most.I mean,she not only observe that there are countries that are less fortunate than the others but also want to know what is the reason behind ti.She even goes ahead and wonder what can be done to attain a balance economy and lifestyle.That was not only intelligent but also humane;I do understand Yasmin is not from a 3rd World Country but she's not comfortable there,she want to understand some things about other undeveloped countries which she wasn't taught .
The poverty cycle is very hard to get out of but yet those with money and power seem to get richer and more powerful while those impoverished stay poor. It is hard not to question why those with too much money don't help those who are in need of it. Maybe they are just greedy or maybe it is just hard to help so many people. This is a very difficult question for sure.
