How are organisms being affected by climate change?
For this cycle of research, was an eye opener for me. Although, I've been covering climate change for quite a while I've found that with each round of research I get to discover more about climate change. With this cycle, looking a lot into the severity of whats happening in the arctic it dawned on me how serious the effects of climate change are and how we'll be seeing the severity in the arctic move further south.
One way this research impacted the decisions I make is that I believe it's important for myself and others to understand that our actions can not only affect other humans but can also affect plants and animals which do play a cruily role on our planet. So, I think that when it comes time to make descions you have to take into consideration the effects your actions could have on other species. Another way this topic has impacted my decisons is looking into longterm effects of my actions. Just like food chains being effected my a species dissapearing, the long term effects that this will create to certain species and ecosystems.
All in all, I do believe that we has humans should take our responsibility to understand that climate change and more specificallly man made global warming won't just be affecting us humans but many other forms of life on earth.
