Re: THE GALAXY

I really like your topic of study.it really is true that there might be life in some galaxies but yet you need to expound more on the type of life that you really expect.is it life that supports human life or plant life. I think if you also look at the possible outcomes of the life in these galaxies you might also know the duration in which one can survive in those galaxies. for instance the US government is trying to formulate a way of settling their growing population by finding means such...

The galaxy is very large and you need to specify. But I agree with you that life may really exist in other galaxies

Re: THE GALAXY

That is one of the most controversial questions in the field of science and especially astronomy and astrobiology. Scientists have struggled with this question for a long time but haven't yet found the answer yet. When delving into such a question it is important first to lay out and expound on all your questions, for example 'is there life in other galaxies apart from the milky way?'. For this question, I think it is important to first know what kind of life we are expecting to find, is it...

Hey Jordan. Super great work, I don't know much about different galaxies so this was a great help! I came across a ted talk about life on other planets, I hope it will be helpful (if you haven't already seen it) http://www.ted.com/talks/aomaw...ife_on_other_planets

Hi Jordan! It is most likely impossible for us to find out if there are any other living organisms in the galaxy, because our technology is still not that advanced to do so. Maybe, if you want, you could talk about ways that organisms on other planets can benefit from us? How we can benefit from them? I found these links that may help you: http://www.icr.org/article/can...exist-other-planets/ https://www.sciencedaily.com/r.../01/040101091149.htm Good luck!

Re: The Galaxy

Hi Jordan, I have also often wondered if there is a possibility of life in planets other than our own. As some others have mentioned earlier, it is nearly impossible to determine whether there are any planets with life on them. However, it might be possible to estimate the number of intelligent civilizations on other planets. Here are some links that may help you understand the Drake equation and its purpose better: http://www.seti.org/drakeequation...

hey, Jordan! this is all really cool i did not know any of that. the questions and answers were really helpful in understanding. you are really good at clearly explaining the different topics a differentiating between the different galaxies. this is a cool website discussing the possibility of life in other galaxies: http://curious.astro.cornell.e...lky-way-intermediate

This is really a very interesting research. Keep up the good work you are doing over there. I sometimes find it hard to explain clearly how the galaxy is like but I really appreciate the way you are explaining it very clearly. All the best

Hi Jordan, I find great on your research,Many cannot be able to explain what is galaxy also the planets are consist in the galaxy also their planets which their is life.Is it true that mars they live green people,i usually hear people saying that which you can proof it is true or false.Good work. All the best.

Re: Research Round #3 - What is it that makes life on Earth possible?

Hi Anika, I really like how you gave such a detailed explanation of such a complex topic. Figuring out what allows for life on Earth is not easy, but you have done an excellent job researching it. It is interesting how so many factors have to be precisely set in place to allow for a habitable planet. It is also interesting how this suggests that there is a likely possibility of life on planets outside of Earth. Often, we take life on Earth for granted and do not appreciate how lucky we are...

Research Round #3 - What is it that makes life on Earth possible?

Hi again everyone! Sorry this post is a bit late... but better late than never! Wow, time sure has flown by! I can't believe that this is my last research round of the year! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy as I wrap up my subject regarding life on earth as I study the habitable zones of galaxies, as well as how different types of galaxies might be able to support life. First, if you haven't read my previous post, I highly suggest going back and checking it out as most if not all of this post's...

Inquiry question; Is there live in other planets other than that found on earth? Hello there,I dearly thank those who gave me some link in their comments, I believe they will be of great help to me in my research. As I progress with my research to the next level where I will focus on the whole universe at large I would be pleased to share some facts with you in form of questions and answers. How old is the universe?13.7 billion years When did the first star form?150 million years after the...

INQUIRY QUESTION; Is there life apart from the milky way's galaxy life on earth in other galaxies? And if there was, how? Hey, how are you? I plan to start on my new project “The Galaxy”.In this project I will feature on my main question about the possibility of presence of life in the other galaxies. This came to my mind when I thought of the fact that the sun is a medium star marking it obvious that there are other smaller, medium and larger stars .Since they are many stars there might be...
