Hey guys, so it’s been a few weeks since i posted , i have been researching on impact of technology on us today. so today i will look at the impact of technology has on us today or how has technology changed our lives today ,because we use technology to communicate ,to travel to learn to do businesses that make as live in comfort. We have the positive impact of technology and negative impact of technology, first I will look at the positive impacts ; How has technology changed education...Read More...

Hey guys ,it has been long before i posted but am still working on my new topic on evolution of technology in our day to day life.As i promised from my last post that i am going to look at the ; 1.Five types of technology. 2.New technology trends. 3.Impact of the technology has on us today. 4.challenges and benefits of technology evolution. I will start off with my first concept about the five types of technology which are; Engineering Scientific Medical Biological Environment Today i will...Read More...

EVOLVING OF THE CAMERA

Nasib Mohamed (Sweetwaters)
Last time i talked about the comparison of pinhole camera ,daguerreotype camera and digital camera. Today i am going to look at how pinhole camera daguerreotype camera have evolved to a digital camera, i will also look into the application of digital camera. First i will look into a camera obscura this is also referred to as pinhole camera.Pinhole camera is when an image of a scene is projected through a small hole so that it produces a reversed and inverted image on the screen. In 1839 a...Read More...

Hi everyone, today i am going to look at the corellation between a pinhole camera, daguerreotype camera and digital camera. A digital camera is a camera that store image in digital form .Steven Sasson was the first inventor of the first digital camera in 1975.A daguerreotype camera is a photograph taken in early century photography while pinhole camera is the pinhole with a pinhole opening and no lens. Here are some of the differences; A pinhole camera is a simple devise without any...Read More...

Hi everyone today i would like look into how to maintain an image taken with a daguerrotype camera. To keep the photo away from sunlight and put them away from unusually temperature. You can also protect the image by wrapping it using a clean cloth or rubber band but the best way is to store them lying on a glass . I also want to look into the difference between a pinhole and a projector.A projector is an object that is used to project rays of light. An image projector is a device that...Read More...

Hi everyone, today i would like to explore more on how a daguerreotype camera works. To start off,the copper plate is carried to the camera in a light tight plate holder, and after removing the cap from the camera lens and the exposure begins to produce a latent image on the plate. The exposure time ranged from a few second to minute. The daguerreotype differs from pinhole; In a daguerreotype camera the image is formed in the copper plate while in a pinhole the light passes through the...Read More...

Photographic cameras root go deep, it started with Obscura camera that is known as pinhole camera and continued with Daguerreotype.Daguerreotype is photographic is a process that named after the inventor Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre. It is a unique image on silvered copper plate to help fumes that made it exterior light sensitive.Viewing a daguerreotype the image does not sit on the surface of the metal but appear to be floating in space.Next i will be looking on the working of Daguerreotype.Read More...

Since a pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens but with a tiny aperture, a pinhole is effectively light proof box with a small hole in one side.Light from a scene passes through the aperture and project an inverted image on the opposite side of the box which is known as camera Obscura. The produced images have some characteristics, this include, they produce inverted images, this is because light travels through air in a nearly perfectly straight line, the light that travel from the...Read More...

Today i am going deep on the aim of Alhazen.Alhazen was a scientist ,mathematician, astronomer and philosipher his aim to make a pinhole camera is to came up with a theory that successfully combined with part of mathematical argument. His challenges was on refraction on how light a distinct image ,to solve this he proposed that ray are refracted at the rear surface ,and light rays determining the spatial integrity of the image.Read More...

Today i am going to research on the uses of a pinhole camera,we can improve our vision by pinhole glasses.Pinhole eye glasses are the eye glasses with series of pinhole that can improve our vision.Pinhole glasses are something of a phenomenon that allow long eye sighted to see clearly without the need for corrective lenses, pinhole glasses allows a very narrow beam of light to enter the eye which increases depth of a field ,this allows the eye muscles to relax.uses of pinhole glasses, improve...Read More...

Human eye works similar like a pinhole camera when it came to projecting images they both provide upside down images .In pinhole camera the image is formed onto the back of the box and in human eye, light passes through the lens to project an upside down image on the back of retina.Pinhole camera differ from the eye in some ways.Lens the eye have lens that help in refracting light to be focused on the retina but in pinhole there is no lens the light entering the pinhole passes through a...Read More...

Hello everyone, i am going deep on the problem of a pinhole and their solution.what are the pinhole problem and what are the causes ,for example contamination, a contamination is a pinhole problem is caused by moisture in the air filtration system , it is worth to solve this problem because the exposure when the air is contaminated may breakdown. How can it be contaminated ? when the room is dusty and we can prevent this by keeping the room free from dust. The other problem is exposure time...Read More...

Pinhole Background

Nasib Mohamed (Sweetwaters)
This pinhole device was first to be used in sixteenth century when it was known as camera Obscura. The invention of a pinhole camera was invented by Alhazen a Persian scientist.Pinhole camera is lenseless camera ,it is a light box with fine round hole in one in end and film or photographic in the other. In the fifth century it was discovered that light travels in straight line. A pinhole camera had infinite depth field, and it could also reproduce a scene just as the eye sees. The problems...Read More...
